Standard Terms of Trade

Following are the standard terms of trade for a successful purchase at Japanz International:

1) Customers can explore the stock on our website without registration or sign up but they must sign up on our website before buying a car. (Registration is absolutely free!)

2) Find a car that you like, sign-in on the webite and click on "Reserve" to reserve your desired car for 3 days.

3) Once customer reserves a car, Japanz International representative will call the customer to initiate the buying process and send him the official invoice of the FOB price via email. Prices are quoted in Japanese Yen only in FOB terms.

4) Customer wil be required to make minimum of 40% payment of the invoiced amount and share the T/T copy within 3 days since the invoice was issued. Failure to do so will lead to automatic cancellation of the reservation. (Note: Customer must cover ALL bank transfer charges required for payment, so that we receive the full 40% advance payment shown in the invoice.)

5) Customer must ensure that Japanz International receives payment confirmation from bank within 5 days since the invoice was issued. Failure to do so will lead to automatic cancellation of the reservation.

6) Japanz International will ship the car at earliest possible shipping schedule after receiving 40% deposit from customer. Customer will get shipping schedule and other details from Japanz International.

7) Customer must pay the remainder amount minimum 1 week before to shipment arrival date to avoid any demurrage penalty. Customer will solely be responsible for any such penalties and bear the cost himself. (Note: Customer must cover ALL bank transfer charges required for payment, so that we receive the full remainder payment shown in the invoice.)

8) Japanz International will send all official decouments after receiving full payment from the customer. Bill of Lading (BL) will not be released until full payment is received from the customer.

9) Export certificate will be sent via DHL after receiving full payment from customer on customer's desginated address.


Shipping Glossary

Invoice

An invoice is a payment request from us to you, for a certain vehicle. The Invoice we issue is a very powerful document, because it reserves the related vehicle for you, as long as you meet the payment deadlines. An Invoice issued by us to you for a certain vehicle will mean that, you have the "Exclusive Right" to purchase that vehicle as long as your payment can be confirmed by us, within the deadline.

FOB Price (Free On Board)

FOB – Free on Board (or Freight on Board). This basically means that the cost of delivering the vehicle to the nearest port is included but YOU, as the buyer, are responsible for the shipping from there and all other fees associated with getting the vehicle to your country/address.

CIF Price: (Cost, Insurance and Freight)

CIF stands for "cost, insurance and freight" in shipping. This is the cost of the vehicle including all expenses caused in Japan and during ocean freight. If you need an insurance for the vehicle, please ask for our assistance.

BL: (Bill of Lading)

Bill of Lading is a document issued by the shipping company which certifies that the vehicle has been shipped out and mentions vehicle description & recipient.

T/T Copy: (Telegraphic Transfer / Wire Transfer)

When you pay for a product with invoice issued by us, your bank will provide you a receipt of payment. It is called T/T copy. T/T Copy is a short form of Telegraphic Transfer Copy, which is the payment receipt from your bank. You have to share a T/T copy within 3 days, since the invoice was issued.

ETD and ETA

ETD means "Estimated Time of Departure" & ETA means "Estimated Time of Arrival".

L/C: (Letter of Credit)

We receive Letters of Credit at sight for selected countries. Please contact your nearest bank about the document.

Japanz International Limited (JIL)'s Standard Terms of Trade are as follows:
Unless otherwise stated, a vehicle is reserved for three (3) business days. Minimum 50% payment will be required within the reservation period. Failure to do so will lead to automatic cancellation of the order.
Shipping procedure will begin once we receive your deposit which is agreed by the customer (you) and Japanz International Limited (us).
As soon as we receive full payment, we will send you all the documents by courier (DHL).
We will receive Letters of Credit at Sight from selected countries.
Scanned TT copy will be required after payment in order to avoid any delay of shipping or document preparation.
Shipping Terms

FOB: Free - On - Board:
This is the cost of the vehicle excluding ocean freight. If you buy the vehicle at FOB price, the price only includes the cost of the vehicle and the expenses until loading on the ship in Japan.
CIF: Cost, Insurance and Freight. C&F: Cost, & Freight. (RORO Based):
This is the cost of the vehicle including all expenses caused in Japan and during ocean freight. If you need an insurance for the vehicle, please ask for our assistance.
T.T: Telegraphic Transfer / Wire Transfer:
This is the best way of payment. It is the fastest, safest and most effective mode of sending money. You can transfer money by Telegraphic Transfer at most of the major banks.
L/C: Letter of Credit:
We receive Letters of Credit at sight for selected countries. Please contact your nearest bank about the document.
